The circumstances behind this shot were that we were aboard a boat called the Calypso, getting ready to head off for our second boat trip. Unlike the earlier one which ad involved a high-speed hydrofoil, this time it was all much more leisurely. Indeed, the whole trip was more about the getting there than the being there, since we had very little time at either of the two stops we made (one at Bol on Brac island, the other at Jelsa on Hvar). It took a while for everyone to assemble aboard, so there was time enough to take a few shots from the boat while we waited. It was quite early (around 8.30 am), and we weren't used to seeing the harbour at this time of the day and under such different light. I was really struck by this little fishing boat, with the fisherman so wrapped up in his business that he was seemingly unaware of any of the bustle going on around him. There was also the wonderful reflections, of course — and the gorgeous blues.
