Keating's pub is situated on the corner of Mary Street and Jervis Street in Dublin's city centre. A large, public open space (formerly a car park) has been created beside it, and this life-size sculpture sits in the middle of it. It wasn't there the last time I passed by, but I knew I had to point the camera at it when I spotted it the other day while wandering and snapping the other day.

This is the last of the group of photos devoted to Keating's pub.

Hiya Jimbo...back in circulation after my recent indisposition. Catching up on my Jims rants and Photo Blogs I thought I read somewhere recently that despite the extensive and indeed amazing renovation job that Keatings did on this building it had actually failed to make the numbers and had been put up for sale.
Jimbo: That's a shame Dave. I was afraid something like this would happen when Carl and I stopped spending our hard-earned euro in town. There's no accounting for people, is there. I wonder if it's the old bugbear of 'the north side', or will the smoking ban get blamed for this too. I see, though, that they've built a really good outside smoking space now, which wraps arounf the main building and has a really continental look. We'll definitely make a point of calling in the next time we're in the area.
