This form of street art is new to me. I spotted this guy at work in Grafton Street last week while on my way to a meeting. I was so taken by what he was doing that I made a point of stopping on my way back to watch him at work for a while and to take this pic.

It's a hefilant!!! Going to India in a few weeks, maybe I'll see some.
Jimbo: Thanks for the technical term Dave. 'Hefilant' — I just couldn't place the word. What are the chances of actually seeing any while you're away?

... and at the end of the day he'll pick up his bag and wreck the whole thing. These sort of artists are so skilled, it seems such a shame that their work is transient.

I didn't know you'd been poorly, hope it wasn't too serious.
Jimbo: That often passed through my mind too, especially with the guys who do the amazing pavement drawings.

Thanks for the concern, Ellie. I broke my wrist at the end of July and it's taking a very, very long time for it to get back to normal. I'm still rationing the amount of time I spend with keyboard and mouse, hence the cutback on comments.
